Our Mission at Von Hunter Kennels  Our main purpose is to breed/train high caliber police/military service dogs.  Our High Drive Working Shepherds and Malinois have sound nerves with perfect character. Our breeding program is based on producing the highest quality working dogs in the world.  We will not settle for second best with anything pertaining to our dogs.  We match our dogs for breeding based on their compatibility of working traits.  Our goal is to be a leading producer of the best working dogs in the world.  We have spent many years working with and learning about what a true working dog must possess.  Our breedings are from here in the states and in Europe.  Our European studs also supply us with the best quality of green dogs.
 

VHK Has one purpose and one purpose only when breeding and importing top quality dogs.  Unlike most kennels we are not at the mercy of the major kennels in Europe.  We do not rely on them to send us dogs based on their opinion.  We do not have dogs sitting in our kennel because their drive is to low.  I find a dog that is a proven high drive working dog we acquire it regardless of its lines.  Often we get those high drive dogs with names no one really knows.  All that matters to our kennel is the parents are proven and they produce great offspring with their traits. TRAINING and first hand experience forms the basis of our services.  Here we only focus on True Police/Military Working Dogs.  We continue to search for that combination that gives us more and more drives to build upon. Our puppies are started in their training at around 5 weeks of age.  Below are some of our puppies being worked at various ages.  The Shepherd and Malinois were designed for work and protection and we breed only for that reason.  We encourage you to test our dogs with any test you prefer. DUAL GREEN DOGS We import and prepare Green Dogs that are well above the average of most kennels.  We welcome anyone to test our imports .  You will quickly see our dogs are more than adequate to do the job.  Unlike most vendors we do deliver the top quality
